Crassula coccinea - synonym: Rochea coccinea

Adding another splash of red to the holiday season is this tough rock garden plant that grows well in many parts of New Zealand. Around our longest day in New Zealand this showy succulent hails from South Africa and is just one member of this diverse plant family. The twining stems survive in tough areas and are perfect growing in a sunny rockery. Grown easily from cuttings I love to share this plant with gardening friends. Hot and dry conditions suit this showy plant and as a bonus it is also mildly fragrant.
